Tax cuts for the wealthy. Bailing out Wall Street. Bailing out Big Banks. The GOP has been dumping trillions into the economy for years. THAT’S the problem.
Government spending helps more people than the GOP ever did.
Since Biden’s election, The Federal Reserve Board has increased the money supply by a whopping 25%. Yet, the clown wants to continue spending programs with more money that he’ll have to print. Is it any wonder why we have bidenflation?
Konservatives are ready to go,with their own plan: tax cuts that this time will pay for themselves, yep, believe it (suckers), and… uh… HUNTER BIDEN!!!
Ooo, Adolph Breakswynd tries badly to deflect from the ReThuglicans voting against the PACT Act, the act to help out veterans who were exposed to toxic chemicals from burn pits.
If they keep consistently voting against bills to help veterans getting aid for health problems their service time caused and try to block veterans bills at every step, and keep calling veterans “suckers” and “losers” then how can any veteran or member of a veteran’s family even consider voting for ’em?
Government spending may play a role, but it’s much more complex than that. Both the former and current administrations provided aid to those suffering income loss because of the pandemic. As the pandemic subsided, purchasing and supply chain disruptions have come home to roost. Next the Russian invasion spooked the oil market and spurred price gouging. But confluences of other factors are also contributing:
I think it is quite likely the the sudden Manchin reversal has caught the opposition by surprise. Best to denounce this legislation and try to kill it to keep the narrative of the Democrat’s inability to govern alive for the fall campaign. Worse yet, it might even get things moving the right way. Better the country fail, than the Dems get a win.
And it never occurs to the Türd Reich trolls that inflation isn’t an “instant on” switch but takes a few years to have an effect. They wreck the havoc with policies that benefit the <1% and the oligarchy of Big Biz and then just leave the next administration to take the blame. Real economic growth happens when the rest of the 99% have money left over at the end if the week/month/year to spend – and hopefully in their own communities instead of sending it to one community where a global marketing billionaire just rakes it in to keep in their own pocket and never to spread around, or worse, sending it outside the country to another billionaire or another tyrant. But then the Türd Reich has always been about screwing over the average person and just making the rich even richer.
Just look at how often the Türd Reich has obstructed any and all efforts for absolutely anything and everything that would make life better for common folk. It’s all about the oligarchy, ‘cuz they’re “just like you!” except they’ve got billions and y’all are living paycheck to paycheck or dammed close to it. But all y’all Rumpers keep thinking anything is gonna change and being surprised when the same ol’ same ol’ turns out to be more if the same ol’ same ol’ – and that’s the definition of crazy, folks. That’s just plain crazy but y’all just keep on doing it. When you gonna wake up?
Good point re the debt, but exactly which party is responsible for the majority of our debt? Surprise, it is not the Democrats. See https://towardsdatascience.com/which-party-adds-more-to-deficits-a6422c6b00d7
Given how much inflation is driven by oil right now, and how much this helps reduce the countries dependency on oil, it will help reduce inflation, for the next generation.

The problems that led to 1970’s inflation were well underway before Jimmy Carter came into office:
