I was thinking that you could have appropriated the legs off an old Barbie for Cheetara, but that brings an image to mind that should have never been there.
Back then you would have had to look in a magazine to see if any company had extra parts for what you wanted, or you could have gone to a second hand store to try to find something that would work.
I managed to break my first Barbie’s (dark hair, late 60s) shoulder joint.
I brought her to the tiny store (tobacco, anything for school, comics, toys,…) where I had bought her several years before. Naked. They sent her in – and she was returned to me repaired and clothed without charge.
