Any trip to visit someone you care for is always over too quickly, regardless of how long it actually takes.
This is true even when you, for whatever reasons, really can’t wait to get home! Of course, I had a wonderful kitty who would NOT tolerate traveling, so this actually does make sense.

It’s like age. One minute, you’re 10 years old. The next minute, you’re 30 years old and then 60 years old and you wonder what happened.
