Isn’t that just the most beautiful sound in the world?! I’ve missed my Dufresne’s purrs while I’m away on vacation. Can’t wait to see him again on Sunday when I get home!
I suspect Dan is just trying hard NOT to fall in love with the little guy. Usually doesn’t take long. Then the first thing that gets destroyed starts the cycle of “Love-Hate” until the kitten begins to grow older. You never get over not hearing the purr of your cats though.
Had to look up Ric Flair. I haven’t followed pro wrestling since the early ’60s. My favorite was villain Karl von Hess who played a Nazi. He cheated egregiously. His best cheat was the garotte he hid in his speedo. He was in a tag team with a guy who wore a monocle. They gave Nazi salutes and goose stepped. Most WWII vets were in their 40s so there was an audience for them.
He is adorable! I hope the ride home went without incident as cats don’t always like riding. They can be acclimated to it, however, if you start them when they’re young.

How can you not love a purring kitten. (footnote – purring is heightened emotion – love, content, and fear)
