Good find! My painting/crafting table is a drafting table that my son left behind when he left home. It is the perfect size for your project and all the paraphernalia.

Who doesn’t love a happy “accident”?

An antique tool of the trade that can still be used for its original purpose. This calls for an ice cream cone or slice of cake to celebrate.

My drafting table wasn’t an antique when I bought it. I did actually use it for pencil and ink drawings for a few years.

Congrats on that nice find Amanda!! Also nice extra perk that it fit in your vehicle. Never seemed to happen to me until I started driving an SUV to carry walkers and wheel chairs. Now I don’t have time or money to shop for anything for myself :-)

I once had a book of life tips. One of the tips in it was, “Try to get good stuff as well as stuff at a good price. Sometimes, it can be the same stuff.” Looks like you did just that with the drafting table, Amanda!

You lucky duck! That makes it so much easier to draw.

One bad thing about Florida that few people realize – very few antique stores. Retirees tend to leave the good stuff up north when they come down here, downsizing to fit a smaller living space.

Oh, well, I can’t afford it and have no place for it.
