We have a ragdoll who was absolutely delighted that there’s a cat tower next to a doorway, so he can gently swipe or nip everyone who walks through, just to remind them that he could kill them if he easily wanted to, he just doesn’t want to at the moment.
A friend’s husband found a stray cat and brought him home. The cat loved the husband. It hated the wife. It would relieve itself on her pillow AND, get this, on the stove, too. The wife gave her husband an ultimatum: the cat goes or the daughter and I go. He gave the cat to someone else.

That’s the most catlike thing I can imagine.

Our dog behaves more like a cat than a dog.

Our cat Tank does this to my wife. Puts holes in all her shirts.

The kitty is the predator, but which of you is the “mouse?”

Pounce! Is it wrong that I’m a little proud of Ric for being so clever?
Now you know why one of the collective nouns for cats is a “glaring”.

Hence, why couples should have two cats— mine and yours.(Luckily, our cats, even with preferred humans, like us both.)
