    when you live in a place where temperatures can exceed 120F ….. yeah…. you’ll forget about that “D” thing and just think about some igloos and seals (and dream about them too!) o_O

    Don’t worry ~ more snow headed your way. That ground will soon be covered in snow. Here in North Idaho, I always take Vit D in pill form in the winter. We can go weeks without seeing any sun. I’ll take too much sun any day!

    I understand your feelings about winter in your neck of the woods. Seems like it lasts forever until occasionally you see a ray of sunshine burst over the hill…then it disappears as fast as it came. Mother Nature has a mean streak, that rears it’s not so nice head for all of us at times.

    Considering where you live you may need vitamin D in the summer too. Sincerely, someone who takes vitamin D year round and has a kid whose vitamin D levels were “nearly undetectable” last time they got blood work.
