I was sort of afraid that young Amanda might ask, “Who is Elvis?”

Does that Elvis trope cross generations?

Wow! Wow! Wow! Forgive my enthusiasm, but Amanda properly punctuated everything in the word balloons! “Thank-you card”! But, “Thank you!” Twice each, even!! One sees such good English so seldom—and it’s been that way for centuries . .

Uh huh, she’s all shook up

You can probably monetize that.

I wish I had a younger me. Then I could be reminded of stuff I did, good or bad. Some of the details are sort of um, foggy.
