Hmmm. I was skeptical of these pandemic storylines so late in the game. However, I’m enjoying them more than the ones others were doing back then. I think it’s because enough time has past. Bravo Amanda!
Men, lined up against the back wall. (slip out for a smoke, or towards the end of the service. He can hear the loud trucks roar to life.) Women in the pews starting midway towards the back. Those with noisy children are bunched together. The only option left for visitors is towards the front where everyone can stare at them. (Did you see those shoes when she walked by? Tsk.)
Our church is very small, everyone in the congregation has their “favorite pew” and goes to it. You pick up the bulletin on your way in. As the “Usher” and I use the term very loosely here, I do offering, and keep chaos down to a minimum during communion. after the service, I clean left behind stuff up and put the hymnals back at the proper orientation.
I know a couple whose Church was fined because the people in attendance refused to follow protocol, claiming their faith will keep them safe. Sigh They were not too comfortable with my mask and distancing.

People everywhere don’t follow directions, not just where you are.

I agree with Dan here. I’m the one who choses my seat, for many reasons…see a variety of comments above and pick one :-)

That’s not just there. That’s everywhere.

Sadly, our ushers are late arriving for Mass and very rarely help anyone find a seat!

Don’t live in FL. The whole state is one big lawless fringe. Lawful people are frowned upon…

I learn so much from Amanda’s shirts. I thought the only US Red River was New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma… but google geography proves me wrong again…
I am still enjoying online church for a variety of reasons.
