Recently there was a single panel cartoon on here where Superman is standing in between a plane and a bird and he says something like: Really? You can’t see any difference?

people just aren’t very attent… squirrel!

I always assumed the visual confusion ensued when he was flying very fast, so people primarily saw a blur and couldn’t determine what they were looking at.

Does he imitate a pigeon when he flies over cars? He’d have to fly upside down
