Sorry, Mrs. Anderson, you made a mistake. 20℃ = 68℉. Oh, and 40℃ = 104℉.
Any temperature in Celsius evenly divisible by 5 has a whole number equivalent in Fahrenheit.
The graph on the board is wrong.
20°C is equal to 68°F NOT 70°F
never mind that the Fº equivalent is wrong – 20º C is just about heaven…
Here’s a can of worms: metric is much easier to learn (as is the Celsius system of temperatures) IF you start with it. Trying to change later in life is difficult. Especially if you’re trying to convert.
