Huh?! How come it let you and not me?? I’ve tried and tried and tried to get it to load!! Flip (or words to that effect!)

It’s hard to believe that now, after only two attempts, it finally loaded! I have tried countless times before, all to no avail!! It makes no logical sense at all… especially as I have loaded the original file, which is slightly over the allowed 2MB… incredible!! Thanks JD!

So upsetting about Whitney too. I know my eldest cousin liked her. Not sure if she was a fan but she had a favourite song.

I’ve never really heard her music myself. But all the other Whitney fans will be devastated.

Re: the avatar… you could very well be right… TTL over so many leaps and whatnot… it could also be my ISP, my browser, the fact that I got a media-codec trojan dropped on me from You Tube a short while ago… the list of possibilities goes on and on… I’ve been considering doing a clean install for a while now, and swapping out my 32bit version for the 64bit… my machine came with both installations as I’m assuming most peoples Vista did (?). It’s just a question of getting organised to do it…

Re: the retrospective on the sadly departed Whitney Houston: I’m glad you took the time to get to know her even if it was posthumously. I was a huge fan of hers… she had the whole package… a huge talent… shook my head in disbelief when she got together with Bobby Brown — from then on in, her demise was predictable — tragic.

Mariah Carey… hmmm… she is talented, but she lost me when she said publicly “Whenever I watch TV and I see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can’t help but cry. I mean I would love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff.” You can’t help but wonder what she was on!

Must confess that there’s not much rap music that doesn’t have me reaching for the off switch… most of it seems to be posturing and ‘in-yo-face’… not my cup of tea really…

Yes… the first option… Time To Live… tho the others are funnier!

So you like Diana Ross too? She’s another longtime favourite of mine… I fed myself on Motown as a teenager… not overly familiar with Matt Monro… I agree about the rap… Í think the male rap is more aggressive… gets me on edge (and not in a good way!)

I am a BIG fan of The Prisoner too. I got introduced to it in June or July and have watched the 17 episodes 5 times over.
