I agree Flo forgot the betting part of the diary. Andy you are too preditacable. Hey people where I live there was a job fair a new sports arena is planning to hire 420 people they had 5,000 applications ready and people poured in.

Perhaps, like many terms, the “English” version of a word has a slightly different meaning than the “American English” version. Don’t know for sure, just supposing.
