Hi, Number Three. I am relieved. That was an intense day ! The only cans I will be “cracking” will be Coke, Pepsi or Sierra Mist. Gave up all those other habits over 24 years ago. I saw too many people in their 50s and 60s when I was a kid, that just looked wiped out. I wont be living on pills and endless Dr. appointments, hon. Well that’s very good to hear! Congrats on the 24 years. Nobody would want you to go back and forth to the doctors and take pills. I wouldn’t, and neither would other people on here.

I agree. I think that Andy & Flo in the late 50’s strips looked taller and longer in the face.

I think I like the strips with the caption underneath a bit better than the speech bubble ones… But as long as they make me laugh then I don’t mind!

When in Glasgow a few year’s ago, we visited a pub which had a live Irish Band performing. Don’t remember the name of the place. When we walked in the band broke into a short version of American Pie. Obviously they recognized our nationality. They played a lot of Irish folk music, which we all enjoyed very much as did the rest of the clientele. During one of the breaks I asked one of the musicians if he thought that somewhere in Dublin that there would be a Scottish band playing Scottish folk music. His reply was a very sarcastic “I don’t think so.”
