Male, 60, happily married, no offspring, military veteran, retired logistics manager, expat in The Philippines…motorcyclist, scuba diver, avid reader, history buff, globe trotter, net surfer, fisherman (when I have the dynamite), bon vivant and all around nice guy.
As you can see from my avatar, leprechauns sometimes assist private eyes with their enquiries……..It’s too bad I lost contact with my friend who did this one for me. I’ve often wished I had a version of my private eye character (one Jock Justice by trade) interrogating Andy (or bending the elbow with him!)
@ LinquistWelcome back! I am so glad you found your Casa. Did you take your dog also? We did miss you, you know. Glad you got a great net connect and wish mi espanol wasnt so malo…lol…@ EdclecticWelcome to the wonderful world of “Cappers”…there are many artists, posters, hilarious jokesters and all around nice people. Nice C.V. btw!
I would like to take a poll Cappers….who here (besides me) thinks that Saturdays and Sundays should not include very heavy rain and hail? We just got rid of the snow dang it!!

I would say yes to the garden question, but not gardening magazine pretty. I have the ‘toms’ outside and was told to plant them in the evening, which will happen before too long. I have a Purple Cherokee, a red and a yellow cherry tomato plants and some other varieties; ten in all. Haven’t quite worked out the final strategy yet. If I run sprinklers, that uses much water plus making it wet that I will have snails. The song appears to be a long (9 minute) winded instrumental by Irving Berlin. The second link has lyrics. don’t know if he wrote ‘em.My point being; You must be drying up to a shrivel after giving away all your “juice”.Some info on the “How Dry I Am song”. The first post explains it pretty well. "’The Near Future’I’m not sure these are lyrics that Mr. Berlin actually wrote, but cute.
There sure are [alkys in other countries] but yours seems to have the best comic about it, which must make you guys the experts.
Your links were perfect… Especially ‘The Near Future’ one.
The lyrics in the second link are pretty sweet and made me laugh.
I nearly always feel fine once I’ve given blood… Apart from the 3rd time where I felt very unwell until I had a good night’s sleep.
I agree with you on the Andy Capp comic. I’ve always been a big fan of Andy Capp even though you wouldn’t expect a person like me to enjoy it.
Your garden will be worth all the hard work in the end… Well I wouldn’t know but I’m sure others do.
Great Capp and Andy Martin, Number Six. My dad had the tartan caps. I think there is still one around at the house, but that is a long way from here.If it were me, I would get Jill “Bigguns” to take the shot. .I think afficio’s “Blue” could use some painted on blood drippy teeth on the front of the hood and bumper with orangey yellow flames trailing to put the “Menace” in the name..Welcome back, Linguist !I asked before, as others are now, did you bring your pup ?Congrats on scoring affordable housing aand a good cable service. .I think Linda’s good weather landed on me. Friday Fantastic; today, still pretty good !.I agree ! Good croppa classics today !. Chalkie j no cap said, about 1 lack of substance ago

Excellent strip today. Reg would be proud to call it his own. It fits nicely with the frequent front door gems done by the Master…

Miserable perhaps but not useless. Florrie’s appreciative of his level-Headedness. . . . He’s got a Leg-up on most Blokes that way.
