Male, 60, happily married, no offspring, military veteran, retired logistics manager, expat in The Philippines…motorcyclist, scuba diver, avid reader, history buff, globe trotter, net surfer, fisherman (when I have the dynamite), bon vivant and all around nice guy.

Excellent strip today. Reg would be proud to call it his own. It fits nicely with the frequent front door gems done by the Master…

As you can see from my avatar, leprechauns sometimes assist private eyes with their enquiries……..It’s too bad I lost contact with my friend who did this one for me. I’ve often wished I had a version of my private eye character (one Jock Justice by trade) interrogating Andy (or bending the elbow with him!)

Where has he been? Does Flo really have to ask?

I would say yes to the garden question, but not gardening magazine pretty. I have the ‘toms’ outside and was told to plant them in the evening, which will happen before too long. I have a Purple Cherokee, a red and a yellow cherry tomato plants and some other varieties; ten in all. Haven’t quite worked out the final strategy yet. If I run sprinklers, that uses much water plus making it wet that I will have snails.The song appears to be a long (9 minute) winded instrumental by Irving Berlin. The second link has lyrics. don’t know if he wrote ‘em.My point being; You must be drying up to a shrivel after giving away all your “juice”.Some info on the “How Dry I Am song”. I nearly always feel fine once I’ve given blood… Apart from the 3rd time where I felt very unwell until I had a good night’s sleep.

I agree with you on the Andy Capp comic. I’ve always been a big fan of Andy Capp even though you wouldn’t expect a person like me to enjoy it.

Your garden will be worth all the hard work in the end… Well I wouldn’t know but I’m sure others do.
