Are You saying there was antisemitism in the mid-twenties?Also the Rabbi wants to “get-to-know-mi” am i on secret probation or summat? Will there be a quiz?
No quiz, just curiousity…and a clever mind who tries to put your peg in his laid out pallett…stifle him…refuse to fit in the one he mentally assigns…go east and north…use your brain to take you there….the Rabbi will never have a clue…
The days when I agree with Andy is quite rare. But today I TOTALLY agree with him 100%!I really like mushy peas but haven’t had them in ages. I’ve never had black pudding before though.xxx
My mum, throughly English liked it too, ICK, well she also liked Head Cheese, and Brains in Brown Butter and Sauted Kidneys. NO NO NO NO NO! I wanted Mac n Cheese!
Spotted dick is a steamed suet pudding, popular in Britain, containing dried fruit (usually currants or raisins) commonly served with custard.-——————————-And all this time I thought it was an STD.
Mushy peas are not to my liking……vegetables should have some texture..@beviek….an Eteee Lauder freak are you?.Lamb is just as good for dogs as it is for humans. I don’t know of any vets who would agree with yours.
Oye Number Six; Black Pudding A.K.A. Blood Pudding. Some of us Irish like it too. Me included.^^Here in Canada, we call eat blood sausage… or, Boudin <French name for it…. I love it, fried in onions, with rice and asparagus
Personally, I don’t care for any of the internal organs of the animal. This includes liver, kidneys , whatever. During WWII, when meat was rationed we did eat some beef hearts, usually made into chili con carne which wasn’t too bad.

Fish and chips and mushy peas. Looks great…
<p.For that special occasion, roast beef, potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding…
But there is, of course, no doubt about the greatest gift Scotland ever gave us…

I don’t think Andy’s too impressed by fine dining:What impresses Andy is what We call a “Potatoe Chip”.

bev, I LOVE PEAS! Just never thought of eating them mashed, although, I do love Green Pea Soup! Guess they are mashed in that, aren’t they?
And that Blood/Black Pudding looks and sounds like PA Dutch Scrapple, so I bet I would like it! LOL!
