One of my favorite Dave Berg (“The Lighter Side Of”) in Mad Magazine) cartoons: Two fathers at a Little League baseball game. A close play at second base, and the argument begins: “He was out!” “He was safe!” “He was out!” “He was safe!” The next few panels we find the same thing, at the grocery store and other places around town. Finally the wife of one of them pulls her husband aside: “Would you two forget it already? It’s been TWO YEARS!”

Next they’ll be doing a “Who’s on First?” type of routine like Abbott & Costello. After watching a few minutes of that clip on Youtube, It started to get tiring.

Abbott and Costello were nowhere near as good as Laurel & Hardy.

-Trying different haircuts can be fun. -Dad thought so too !-If a liquor store clerk or club door man ever “mistaked” you for 21…. Woo hoo ! -Dyeing hair for theatre or a party would be a good excuse way to try something different. -The Right Bros tune came before the one I put up. They may have been first. Too late to look up as comics turned and I am still behind. -Moms and dads have their own taste in programming. -Was a good day for working outside. -Sending a wet and wild Washout We’nsday !_____________________________________________________

My 80’s hairstyle consisted of curls and I wished my hair was naturally curly because I thought straight hair was boring. I had that hairstyle in twice. -I don’t go clubbing or drink liquor anyway so even if I do look 21 (which I don’t think so) then it’ll be put to no use. If I went to America, I wouldn’t be classed as an adult because it’s 21 over there while over here it’s 18. I think 21 makes more sense because at 18 you’re still a teenager and you can’t really be both a teenager and an adult. It just doesn’t seem right. But that’s my personal opinion.-I wouldn’t mind having a temporary spray hair dye which washes out but I can’t think of an occasion when I’d have my hair looking jazzy. Maybe I could spray a red streak in my hair when I make my 10th blood donation because it kind of promotes the blood drive. -This is a cover version of The Everly Brothers’ “All I Have To Do Is Dream” It came out in 1970. It’s quite lovely. Link -May you have the most Wonderful Wacky Wednesday!

I can see no way Abbott & Costello could have inspired Seinfeld. They are altogether different styles of humor.
