    Should have said “chips”. No Englishman would say French fries.

    Curley from the Stooges had a similar gag with clam chowder and oyster crackers, also very funny.

    “Did you stuff the turkey?” “No, it wasn’t hungry!”@Number SixThanks for posting the clip yesterday (thanks to you, too, beviek!) Always one of my favorite Monty Pythons. I recently read a book called “Monty Python Speaks!” (Technically only 5/6 of Monty Python spoke…….) Plenty of inside info and (occasionally) dueling memories and opinions, lots of photos (some of out-takes from their movies that were probably never published anywhere before). And I recently watched a set of videos of interviews with the Pythons and some clips. But it’s been years since I’ve seen the show itself, probably. (This is what you call your “Godfreydaniel logic”………)

    @afficianado,

    Beano, Dandy, Beezer, and the Topper – those are the four weekly comics I remember from my childhood in Malta. Great memories….

    Gweedo – It’s legal here !!! – Murray said, about 14 hours ago

    Giggles and Curls ! -“I’m a boy and I’m a man. I’m 18 and I liike it !!!” – A. CooperWe had 18 drinking age starting early 1970s. ‘Young enough to die, old enough to drink !’I like home partying better than the commercial establishment sense.-I like the red streak !The blood people will take notice ! -That song runs for 14 seconds and stops dead. Even restarted the machine; no go. In that short bit I can tell that I still like this one betta !-Thank you. Done and done !-A Turbulent trying to be wet Thursday coming your way !_____________________________________________________

    You also need to be 18+ to gamble in the UK. I used to get emails from Online Casinos and it really ticked me off because sometimes those emails ended up in my Inbox and not my Spam folder.- Speaking of hair, I think it’s stupid that people insist it’s only the elderly that get grey hair. People as young as 20 can get a few grey hairs too. It might not be very common but it’s not impossible.- I never go out on Saturday nights to drink and drink, throw up and drink…etc. Not for me.- Yes the red streak would look amazing, I will get a certificate and a little badge according to the website for my 10th donation. I have yet to book an appointment. I might do it on Friday.- I am sorry about that. It worked all right for me. Do you think it might be due to the ‘construction’ work you are doing on your computer screen when I put on the avatar of me? Haha.- May your Thursday be truly… umm… terrific!

    You have to be familiar with the game of Baseball to understand or appreciate Abbott & Costello’s “Who’s on First” routine.
