The phone is smart—-it’s not betting!

Yeah, but the phone will never replace the wonderful tactile feeling of walking out of the betting shop with a pile of readies and heading for the pub.

I’ve been to a track two/three times & enjoyed myself. Never won big but drank beer during the races & ate afterwards. I lost what I planned to bet on the nine races so no big deal. I did have a pile of losing tickets that added up to quite alot more than my spending limit so as far as I was concerned I came out a winner! Never did go through a bookie. Enjoy your weekend Cappers.

Andy doesn’t belong in a high-tech world. (In fact, sometimes I wonder if the jockeys he loses money on have discovered the saddle……..)

@SandfanProbably the archetypical Andy in that classic you posted (except there’s no fight cloud………) Always one of my favorites.
