    Now a person can get a word in edgeways. When Andy Capp first started in Aussie the comment was made “there is a little bit of Andy in all of us”.

    @Number SixI hope you’re doing better today, after your cycling accident, yesterday, although I suspect you’ll be stiffer and the shoulder more bothersome today. Don’t let the b*stards get you down !

    Interesting here how the bicycle, an essential means of transportation and commerce for many, is gradually being replaced by the “moto” ( motorcycle ) as a means of getting around – the price of a car or truck is out of the price range for most folks and parking is non-existent in cities ( you don’t dare park on the street at night because you wont have a car in the morning !)People here don’t cycle because it’s the “green” thing to do. They do so only out of economic necessity.Drivers, here, are equal opportunists. They’ll run bicycles or motorcycles off the road when given a chance. And if they can’t hit a cyclist, another car or the cross-town bus is fair game. Pedestrians are their favorite targets, though.

    We have the smartest dogs in the world here..I have watched them check the traffic light s out before crossing the roads. Busy as traffic is, and as stupidly fast and erratic as our drivers are, rarely do any of the hoards of “street dogs” get hit – and believe me, the drivers neither slow, nor break for them or for pedestrians !

    Too bad he can’t get paid for his hobbies, then again he’d probably stop if it became paid employment.

    Don’t make him angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.

    But it’s Andy who’s got the sting!

    @Number Six^

    *Today I’m having a KFC Bucket for dinner. Although it says “SFC” on the bucket which I’m assuming stands for “Southern Fried Chicken” It’s my first time trying one and I think I’ll enjoy it!

    ARE YOU SURE ??? (-:SFC could stand for several other things, you know?We even have the ubiquitous Kholesterol Fried Colonel here in Ecuador, too. I hope you do enjoy it.When I was living in Sedona, Arizona, we had a KFC franchise run by a Korean. He departed slightly from the corporate menu and served incredible egg rolls along with the fried chicken. I swear they were the best tasting egg rolls I have had anywhere – including China. He won all sorts of awards from Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. for sales and popularity. We used to say were were going to get take out from the Korean Fried Colonel.In the southern U.S. they have a chain called Popeyes Chicken, which I much prefer to KFC. The batter is much spicier and much more to my taste. If you ever get to Louisiana or Florida, you’ll have to try Popeyes.

    I have read that Japan imports Kangaroo meat from Australia. And that Japanese restaurants serve them as “Jump Steaks”.
