One of my favorites ! Thanks.

I was a football (soccer) referee for over 30 years and a referee instructor and evaluator for over 20. I collected all of Andy’s exploits on the pitch.

I often used them in illustrating different aspects of the game when teaching.

Reg Smythe was an avid footballer and extremely knowledgeable about the ‘beautiful game’.

Today’s Andy was funny but not up to yours. Unfortunately, the 3 Stooges do not have the Master’s knowledge and love of the sport ,nor the ability to make us laugh, and teach us ( normally what not to do ), at the same time.

Hopefully, the person I gave my referee cartoon collection to, is enjoying them as much as I did, and putting them to good use. Andy on the soccer pitch is timeless and fun.
