Believe it or not. There will be people like that. I’d save the celebrating for when the job is being offered.

It has been a week of alcoholism and despair in Andy Capp. On Monday, we learned that Andy served in the military (confirmed by Wiki, because yes I looked it up). I’m gonna guess WW2, considering the movie poster.

Anyway, we learn that during training, Andy’s backpack was filled with beer, probably to calm his nerves. War is Hell!

On Tuesday, we were reminded of Andy’s many run-ins with the police.

On Wednesday, Andy announces his plans to walk to the pub.

Thursday, Flo warns him not to get so drunk he falls into the sewage canal again.

Today, it looks like Andy has spent the past 24 hours drinking, because he can’t even walk to his job interview. depressing and sad.

Something tells me he’s no better off sober.

As if Andy would ever get a job.

I’m going to try to post a Smythe Classic each day for a while.
