    “I just a left a hipster pub. It was packed with liberals, whispering amongst each other about what a commendable job BoJo did with PMQ’s this morning in Parliament — The UK is PROUD!”

    A personal service industry means personal service. Not computer apps.

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , the hipster barman wisely changed the rules when faced with our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s agression :o) my avatar is of Janis seeing the bright side of a situation, a heavy rainfall means Free water so you don’t have to water the garden :o) , that happened to us yesterday while waiting for the gas cylinder truck to come because we needed to change one , it rained a deluge but at least our front and back gardens were watered saving me having to do it :o) , how was your day? ours should be very busy but we will cope I hope , keep safe and take the flu shot , we have not taken ours yet because they ran out and the next lot will arrive in November, thanks for caring pal

    Restaurants today, because of covid we need to sit outside in the cold and the menu is this scanned square full of dots that only a phone understands. They seemed very [!@#$%^&] when I said I never owned such a device.

    A couple of nights ago, I was about to have coffee, quietly leaning against the bar counter as usual, and when they said “please, you have to sit at the table” I was disappointed. The covid has upset all our little habits.

    If he had any, Andy could wave money in front of the guy. But what he’s doing is called a viable alternative.

    He’s gonna be one and done, especially when the bartender realizes Andy didn’t plan on paying.

    I was at a carvery last week and you could still go to the hatch to get served but the waiter had to bring the plate to your table for you.

    I am applauding the hospitality industry right now. They must be under so much stress.

    @Afficionado

    We should all be grateful for the rain. It doesn’t cost anything and there’s plenty of it. Well, here in the UK anyway.

    I never put my coat hood up when it’s raining. I find it uncomfortable and anyway, I like it when my hair gets wet. Everybody else thinks I’m odd. Not that I care of course.

    I’m giving another pint of lifesaving blood on 10th November. Not long to go now.

    Did you know it’s Number Six’s birthday today? I dedicated a song to him on Facebook which was Gene Wilder’s “Pure Imagination” from the Willy Wonka film.

    Simply because I believe Six DOES have a pure imagination. A talented cartoonist. Yet I can only draw stick figures.

    Stay safe, stay well, stay happy and healthy. Love to Bella.

    Personally if you want me to use an app to buy from you then I am going elsewhere – not because I am tech Luddite and more to do with I have a pretty good idea of a) how bad your app writers will produce code and b) I am not willing to let your marketing people have the information you can get from installing an app on my phone.

    Even if he could afford one, the last thing Andy needs is a phone that’s way smarter than he is.
