They made a series, back in the 1970’s. They didn’t make a second one.

If an animated movie is made, I would nominate Afficionado for the voice of Andy. For a conventional movie I would nominate George Clooney to play Andy.

But what rating would such a movie be — S for sot, D for drunk, or maybe F for fool?

Don’t forget the streets at night, when Andy sings out loud: they are among the best scenes!

The Andy Capp TV Series which was sadly only 6 episodes long was absolutely brilliant. The actress who played Flo passed away not long ago. She was brilliant.

Hey, Affie. Just coming on to let you know that I am (surprisingly) still alive.

I woke up to the following text message:

“Thank you so much for donating on 10-Nov. Your donation has now been issued to Nottingham University Hospital. Every donation counts”

Nottingham is in the East Midlands and is over 4 hours away from me so that’s pretty far.

So that got my day off to a GREAT start.

As you know, I don’t comment on weekends so I won’t be here again until Monday. Enjoy your favourite nosh, pal and have a great weekend. Love to Bella.
