    The only offal I’ve had was beef tongue in a burrito at Mexican outdoor eatery (just not in Mexico); tasty.

    I take it the chippy is fish and chips. Am I right?

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp won’t eat offal , as a burnt offering from Flo so he ordered soggy chips and old cod from the chippy :o) I hate all offal like tripe , liver , kidneys or tongue and then I eat Vienna sausages , does that make me weird? my avatar is a picture of Linus from the cartoon peanuts wearing a blankie and sucking his thumb , which reminds me to take out my blankie because it is getting colder here ,but I don’t suck my thumb and have lots more hair on my head :o) it also makes me sad because it reminds me that I used to joke abut the subject with Lady Shades :o{ how was your day ? our Manic Monday should be very busy as usual + it’s raining, but we will cope I hope. keep safe and thanks for caring pal

    Strange, but the best fish and chips I ever had was in Singapore and the best German and Italian food was in Japan. I really do enjoy your comments and look forward to them every day. I am 89YO so I still consider you as a kid. The only Maltese I ever knew was in Vietnam and he drank up all my Gin. Say hello to Connie for me.

    In America, we would probably change chippy for a pizza place. I prefer the take home and I’ll do the baking, that way it’s still hot when I eat it. But with Flo’s cooking, Andy should get the already baked pizza, it will be a little cooler, but still edible.

    Didn’t he forget to ask her for cash before he leaves?

    I still suspect that Andy’s a fantastic cook, but he’s just too lazy to do it.

    Doesn’t Andy have to scrounge the money from Flo to do that?

    I think Flo is going to find a new use for that spoon.

    “Chippy” over here is not what Andy is referring to.

    “Chippy” can also refer to an attitude hockey players have that will get them into fights.

    I had a takeaway last night. A beautiful, lip smacking KFC.

    It was a little reward to myself for saving (or about to) somebody’s life in Nottingham on Friday.

    xxx

    @Afficionado

    Nah, you’re not weird at all. You like what you like and dislike what you dislike.

    I wonder whatever happened to Lady Shades? I used to email with a GoComics user called “Bailey Dean” Our last communication was in 2012 and she suddenly disappeared as well. If I could find out which part of the U.S she lived in, I could probably dig deeper. I did recall her saying on Ballard Street, I believe, that she got married in Alaska.

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. Love to Bella.

    There’s a fish and chips shop in Fairhaven (a section of Bellingham) that’s inside an old double decker bus.

    Andy was certainly faced with an offal choice here.
