    Hey, Andy is their best customer. I’m sure he’s on a first-name basis with them all.

    Maybe give Andy a job at the job center? He knows every excuse, he knows every dodge and he has already been on the dole so long, for a few more bucks he would work with you not against you!

    Maybe you and Andy can work together and grade all the local Pubs. You know, their good points and their bad ones too. I’m sure Andy would have a lot of local knowledge on that subject.

    I was never one who “loved” his jobs, but always derived a substantial degree of satisfaction in doing the work — except for staff meetings. After piling up 40+ years, I retired. One of the questions some folks have since put to me was, “Do you miss work?”. My stock reply has always been, “I missed it for the 15 seconds it took for the door to close behind me on the way out after my last day.”

    I guess Andy’s going voluntarily to the Centre under threat of somehing or someone.

    @Afficionado

    Glad to hear things are getting closer to being finished.

    I have been pouring through a cruise brochure that came in the post. There is an 80 day “Around The World” cruise and some of the places it visits are Egypt, San Francisco and Singapore. I have always wanted to visit Egypt. Maybe one day, I will. Fingers crossed! I’d love to visit everywhere.

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. The wind is really strong here and after I have my curry for dinner, it’ll be windy inside as well…… If you get my drift.
