Deja Vu all over again?

@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s choice of nags to bet on is hopeless but to bet on a horse “Deja Vu” takes the cake :o) have you ever had an episode where you have an experience that you are sure you never had but have a nagging feeling that you have, could it be in another life? I have , my avatar is spoof of a pilot not being able to take off because his mummy grounded him :o) how was your day? ours should be a little busy but calm I hope , no errands to run and we are both in a good mood , keep safe enjoy your regained freedom and thanks for caring young Lady

He should have seen that coming, but then all his problems come from behavior that was costly in the past and offered a predictable future!

Andy made the bet because he missed the prequele. It’s all about binge watching if you want stay current in you abundant free time.

Flo hits the point. And, sadly, Andy realizes it.

Because "ISOSLOW HANOVER was scratched in that race ?

maybe it won it’s last race so he thought it would win this one.

Recently I wanted to bet a daily double of Poison Ivy and Strawberry Rash, but they were both scratched!

Andy’s hindsight consists of seeing his pick’s hind end coming in last.

Man, I thought the horse’s name was Flippin’ Nag!

But the only way to make big money at the track is to bet on the long shot, right?

Andy will probably bet on that same horse in the future.

I think that’s why Flo keeps him around, she know what horses not to bet on.

It seemed to Andy that he had bet on this horse before.

I think it’s pretty much become “deja vu all over again” thanks to Yogi.

I think she got him there.

At its last workout Andy’s horse was timed with a calendar instead of a stopwatch.

Over here the Grand National recently took place which is a big horse racing event that takes place every year. My cousin won £68 because he backed the winning horse. It was also the first Grand National to be won by a woman.

Hi Affie,

Yes I have had those episodes. I couldn’t figure out whether it was a vivid dream or whether it really happened.

Today has been a much better day (weather wise) than yesterday. Should have waited until today to visit the beach. Never mind. If my friend from school wants to meet up this Friday then we will be heading to the beach as well. Not the same one.

Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. Are you feeling any more “free” yet after having your COVID shots?

Flo has to realize that to make the most out of a bet, you have to bet on a long shot. Naturally, most long shots are just in there to fill out field and Andy should know this. The skill is in finding those long shots that have a good chance of at least showing.

Next, Andy will bet on a horse named “Here WE Go Again.”
