Hey, Affie. I saw your comment this morning and when I looked again it had disappeared. Thank you for typing all that out again.
I was at my volunteering today and we all received a certificate to say thank you. A buffet was held as well but I asked if it was OK if I could go.
However in all honesty, I find things like that uncomfortable. I didn’t know most of them. So I was probably a bit antisocial. If they had asked why I had to go, I would have just said I needed to go to town for some shopping. That was kind of true but the only thing I bought was my Dad a card for Father’s Day.
Well, I’m very close to receiving my first COVID vaccine. Over 25’s can book from tomorrow so I’m going to pull an all nighter to try and get an appointment and be one of the first in the queue, I’m booking online. Wish me Luck, pal.
Oh and speaking of fathers, I’m so happy yours survived but those who didn’t will forever be a loss and truly missed.

Similar problem at the dog track where my picks stop to empty their other end.

Last panel, I’d have thought the other horses were already in the home stretch.

Hey, racing can build up an appetite! If I were a horse, I think I’d stop to snack on grass to be honest. Haha.
