Today’s strip reminds me of one which Reg Smythe drew for a Healthy Living advertisement after both he and Andy had given up smoking. The doctor tells Andy that the best way for him to improve his health would be for him to drink less and take more exercise. Andy looks at us and then asks the doctor “What would be the second best way?”

If Andy were to make all, or many of those choices he would cease to be Andy.

It can’t be insomnia Doc. I don’t have any problem sleeping when it’s time to get up.

Knowing Andy, the one thing Doc wasn’t going to prescribe is more sleep…!
