I know the rap, but the drill I don’t know. I had a drill sergeant that you would not want to meet. HUGE big black gentleman that got my attention everytime we met
Irving Drill and Fred Rap. Irving plays the harpsichord. Fred was an outcast from Zamfir and His Pan Flute (flute cleaner.. gawdawful, resulting in Zamfir’s famed sepsis period).
My grandkids do not even know who Måneskin is. When I talk to them about music it is Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars, and the like.
Today a colleague of mine left to go back to India and the poor lad ended up getting a hug from me. Bet he was glad to get away. Haha. Honestly I’m terrible for doing things like that. He did hug me back but he was patting me which usually indicates the person didn’t want to be hugged in the first place. I should have warned him that I’m a hugger. Oops.
I know about Rap, but what the heck is drill? By the way, I see know point in trying to keep up with the times if it means trying to enjoy stuff you find unpleasant.
Quick quote from Aunty Beeb. “Named after a slang term for attacks between gangs, drill is ominous hip-hop with lyrics – like trap and gangster rap before it – about drug dealing and street crime.”

The first names of Drill and Rapp. They could be Electric Drill and Counterfeiting Rapp. That would give Rapp the initial C. Rapp.
