How far is Glasgow from Hartlepool? Did the worthless moocher have to spend much of Flo’s money on train fare?? I hope there’s enough so that Flo and Ruby can have a good time tonight.

Knowing Andy, he will spend the night in the Clyde.

He’s probably safer in jail than in the hotels these days.

Police lock up grub does not include a continental breakfast but the cots okay.

If memory serves; didn’t Scotland reward their fans with free tickets for good behavior at the world cup several years ago?

I wonder if they will play Bag-Pipe music in the cells? Would that be considered inspiring?

Here in the UK, it will be Guy Fawkes Night (or Fireworks Night) tonight. In the US, of course, it is Election Day. Best of luck to all Americans regardless of whoever your next President is.

Because of the shape of Scotland’s geography (narrow waist in the south), I did a pleasant day trip between the two cities. Can’t remember much about it though—must have been the highland dew? And no, I don’t belong to Glasgow, dear ol’ Glasgow toon.

I remember an old strip where Flo had locked him out of the house. He pondered a bit, went to the police station, put up his fists and shouted, “Come on! Who’s first!” He then spent the night sleeping comfortably in a cell.

He made reservations.

Is he on a first-name basis with the Glaswegian police too?

Why waste money on a hotel when he will be in jail before or after game
