INTRODUCTIONWhile looking through my stuff, I found an old “Big Little Book” by the name of “Little Orphan Annie and Sandy” and written by none other than Harold Gray himself. It’s a delightful little story written about on a third grade level and copyrighted in 1933, which, I’m pretty sure, makes it public domain, since it’s over 75 years old. Would y’all like to read it? I can type it out, chapter by chapter if you’re interested and post it here. I remember reading the story in comic form in the book series, “The Complete Little Orphan Annie.” What do y’all think?
David, I have several of those “Big Little Book”s, three of Annie. Somebody took the comic strip and “novelized” it for us youngans. They included several panels of the strip. I have several Buck Rogers, Blondie, Red Ryder, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and others. Those bring back pleasant memories.
