Morning, Anniephans.Now, this looks serious. While she was on the train, she was going somewhere. Now she has mile and miles of desert to cross on foot!
If she slept through being dumped on a siding, maybe she did manage to sleep through all of the other stops for swapping out crews… that would take incredibly bad luck.
OTOH, she had better start walking… empty boxcars can sit for weeks, maybe even months, before they are needed again.
