Yeah, Shuter doesnt need to be in a hurry, he knows where the guy is. Just wait.

Joe, have you checked the color settings on your monitor? Shuter’s suit is a steady black on mine.

I think Shuter deserves a comic of his own, this guy is one tough cop.
Mr. Doty, no offense intended, but I got a laugh from your post the other day when you noted that you had the chance to see a lot of the highway department’s equipment in operation. From my vantage point, it seems that many highway workers get the chance to see the equipment in operation while doing much of nothing.
Devonshade: No offense intended to working men & women, but highway workers leaning on their shovels has been a joke for many many years. Being in construction myself, I find it quite amusing.
Joe Allen Doty: No one I know (except Matthew Hanson over on DT) ever objected to the shortening of their screen name. I’ve seen people call you JAD, Joe and a few other things with no disrespect intended or implied. It’s just an easier way of typing your name. Granted there are a few trolls (such as that character from Our Gang) but for the most part, people like me (or Margueritem) use a shortened version for convenience and nothing else.

Joe, I think Shuter’s suit might have turned brown during the high speed chase with the lady stunt driver, but that’s just me.

It’s an octopus-skin stealth suit, issued to selective agents. It changes colors so they’re more difficult to get a bead on.

Dypak: the suit show up brown on my monitor, also.
Does Slampyak do the coloring (assuming he does the art), or is it done by someone at their syndicate?
The explanation of why the suit turned brown was hilarious, regardless of any anal retentive (pun intended) commentary to the contrary.

I don’t mind boring comment, as long as they’re brief.

Shuter’s suit was black all last week, turned blue on Sunday and brown today. I think “octopus-skin” is the most likely explanation!

The cartoonist does the dailies in B&W, and the colorist wasn’t paying attention (has a lot of funnies to color).

Same thing in Sally Forth. Ted’s shirt changed from orange to blue.
