Good morning Leakysqueaky! And as far as nothing “good” happening after midnight, well, hmmmm that would depend ones interpretation of the word “good” (at least between consenting adults anway). But your absolutly right Annie is up WAY past her bedtime.

    Buenos Dias noctambulos

Stealthily she creeps under a waning moon Beneath the window she does loom Invading their privacy on this night An endeavor to which she has no right Breaking the law or at least bending the rule She is certainly acting like a fool Her impetuous action brings great dangers Soon she’ll be threatened by these strangers Oh Annie, you impetuous little nut You know they’re going to kick your …. So leave there while you still can Before the …. hit’s the fan.

    Thank you LS and ML.

Ah, the sock puppets still haven’t found out how to use email but insist on wasting veryone’s time sifting through the puppeteers different voice impression.

Leaky, why don’t you just do roll call on one posting (do all the pretended “g’mornings” at one time, rather graffittizing the whole forum? What a tired, lame joke.

I think indeed the flash is going to go off. Annie.

Poor little Double Loon, rages at the night Demands posts be removed from his sight His life seems pathetic and seemingly without hope Which causes him to come here and act like a dope With no friends that he can even call his own He lashes out at others in a vain effort to atone For the loneliness and misery that is his lot A victim of the bitter life that he has wrought. Thank you davidf42.

    oh yeah?

    ok, how about:

there once was this sailor from Nantucket he…….

    oh, heard that one?

    ok,

Listen my children and you shall learn, of the midnight skulk, we call Annie’s sojourn. On the sixth evening of may in twenty and ten, She peered through the panes at a couple of men.

she snapped a shot of the two inside imploring them both to smile; and smile wide

    oh, heard that one too?

    sheez, tough crowd

It appears, from the size and shape of the thing, that she’s using an iPod Nano to photograph her subjects. Wifey Bits bought me one for my birthday; it shoots videos, but, oddly enough, not stills. And no flash.

Only the strong can survive these late hours every night. Remember, I’m not a young man and it’s 1:15 am on the east coast when things start happening here. I might not get back on schedule until next week. I miss you guys!

*WW* -You are in exceptional form today and picking up so ‘quickly’ on the invasion of privacy thing.

Must add though that nighthawks verse also had a solid rhythm to it.

Thank you davidf42, Montana Lady, margueritem and Sydney. I too like nighthawks poem, and would like to hear more of the sailor from Nantucket, as I do enjoy a good nautical tale. And Sydney, davidf42 tipped me on the privacy issue.
