It would be helpful if he would let us in on his motivation; the Broadcast Ranch itself (as the kid’s “Daddy” has let slip out) isn’t the sprawling media mecca it once was. Surely whatever cause he needs the land for can afford a stray acre or two.Our budding bad guy needs to “know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,” cut his losses and concentrate on his main objective. In fact, it might work to his advantage to feign interest in “Rosie of the Range,” decide to quit harassing the Ranch Boys and ENCOURAGE the continuance of the venerable radio program – as a way of diverting attention from what he’s REALLY planning…
