COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS ACADEMY – Online (for the duration of the emergency)Review Lesson #26: Noose Tightening (In Two Directions). We at the Academy usually do not give much creedence to the concept of serendipity, or fortunate accidents, as it seldom works in a crimefighter’s favor for very long. There is only one case that we are aware of where it seemed to consistently operate in a protagonist’s favor. (Refer to Lucky fool, J. Clouseau, [bottom of the] Class of ‘63.) In our applicant’s case, his failure to recover his partner’s ill-fitting boots has now caught the local police chief’s attention, and the “beginning of the end” of his career may be in sight. However, the officials investigating the intrigue going on at the hotel may be about to find the Phantom Commando has done them something of a favor. The Academy’s Acceptance Committee may want nothing to do with him, but wesomehow suspect the last “roll of the dice” (as it were) has not taken place yet. (Yes, we know Monsieur Clouseau is a detective with the Sûreté nationale, the formal law enforcement agency of France… but he wears out-of-fashion trench coats so consistently that it practically is identified with him, which qualifies.)

Eyes look better when they’re behind goggles. I guess those eyes have always been an “Annie” trademark.
