"What would you like for supper, crab meat in aspic with fennel cream..." "Or Cornish hen with artichoke and new-season garlic?" "I want the hen." "And don't make fun of my to-go boxes ever again."
What she calls a “go to box”, we call a “doggy bag” because of a woman took her restaurant leftovers home, put them in the fridge for months and months, then microwaved the food and ate it.
Predictably, she got food poisoning and proceeded to sue the restaurant. She lost (of course) but many restaurants could do without the legal defence costs and the bad gossip, so banned taking home leftovers. But its okay if they’re for my dog (wink wink).
