My favorite cop show was “POLICE SQUAD!” All six glorious episodes.

I used to read “Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine”. My favorite author was Edward D Hoch.He died in January 2008.

I liked Cold Case.

I just read (in a fictional context, but I’ve heard it before) that the only cop show that cops themselves overwhelmingly like was “Barney Miller.”

I used to watch cop shows all the time as a kid, but Law & Order was the last I’ve seen on my own. My sister watches the CSI & NCIS series, so I’ve seen a few episodes of each, but not too many
