Kept way overcooking roast after roast until I read a recepie that said " first, calibrate your meat thermometer "..calibrate what-t-t-t?… come to find out it’s reading 40 degrees colder than it should…. lol

Ann Landers had the best meatloaf recipe. I cut down on the bread crumbs and use 2 medium eggs, though.

It’s true. I was trying to make my wife her favorite broccoli cheese soup & botched it. Instead of adding flour to thicken it, I accidentally added powdered sugar. We tried it but both decided to toss it out. A few days later, she noticed the powdered sugar looked low & we realized I’d grabbed the wrong ingredient. At least we had a good laugh!
