See I’d much rather hibernate most of December as it’s getting darker and colder. At least now the days are getting longer and hey, it’s Carnivale!

I think it’s time to catch a little Cabin Fever.

…and that is how we wish away our lives a day at a time.

Bears are smarter than most people – for that matter, so are migratory birds.

I would love to be able to fly South for the winter. sigh…maybe some day.

why do they seem so unhappy lately, missing Gene and the family, I do

I’d like to hibernate on June 1 and wake up on September 1. Hate the summer, especially those three months. Rather go out in 0 degree weather than 100 degrees.

We are in the Lake Michigan snow belt and have about 3 inches of snow so far this year! We usually get 80-100 or more, at least until the last few years and I miss it!

Not so bad in the Detroit area — days are already a half hour longer, have been able to go walking almost every day this year — can’t ask for more in January!!

Come on down to Florida…
