Computers know best! Hey, Mick Jagger said it back in 1967…“My name is a number, a piece of plastic film, and I grow pretty flowers in my little window sill…Don’t you know I’m a 2000 man…And my kids they don’t understand me at all….”

I’ve often wanted to be able to look through everything available. Hell my Blue ray player will only allow me to look through 75 items per category. And lets not get started on why they see the need of showing partial seasons of things. Perhaps I would like to see the first three season of the show and not start on season 4…

Interesting, I am always looking for good movie sites as I like a lot of the older films (from the ’30s & ’40s), I have a Roku which allows me to access several public domain channels.

ARRRR! There be pirates here!Viooz is a pirate website that violates copyright law and steals from the content creators. While it is technically not illegal for the end-user to stream the content, the content was illegally uploaded, and using the site promotes piracy.Don’t steal movies, kids.

How did you do this . ( Modified and used the cable system that was installed already to feed every room, front and back porches and my workshop out back. )

Google Netflix code, and you will find a list of their movies and shows by search code. Sometimes one won’t function, but sometimes you come up with real gems.

Had Hulu and all the fixin’s, but found that most of the remaining movies after I watched what I liked were of the smash, crash, & shoot’em up sorts with plenty of F-bombs tossed thither and yon for no real purpose and so I gave all the hardware to a friend, saying “here, YOU wear it out…. I’m done!”

comicsssfanI know what you mean. Our <10,000 population town actually has an organization of published romance writers! The library may have a dozen or so science fiction titles in circulation. And this is a far better public library than most of surrounding towns.

I started steaming a few months ago and my Netflix subscription is quite valuable to me. I love detective stories and their are many tv series of them made by BBC which are fascinating. I enjoy them much more than the US shows. They also have some great series that come from Australia that are also good. And of course, lots and lots of movies but I tend to like the tv series best. For $8 a month, I’m happy! Try watching the tv series Wallander, Luther, Happy Valley, The Paradise.

Except they aren’t just “picking up” the free locals, they’re paying the locals to re-broadcast. That’s why when everyone had to go digital they only replaced one broadcast tower instead of the 4 in our area. “It wasn’t cost effective, all of the viewers the advertisers want to reach are on cable anyway.”.As for the argument that it’s not your place to worry about if the creator got recompensed for make the movie, that’s no better than the argument that it’s not your job to speak up when you see a pick pocket or shop lifter. Sure, it may be LEGAL, but in the end you pay higher prices.
