Twas the night before Christmas
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Ludwig: Ya got that right!
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
Cats are great….BTW, one thing cats like about Christmas is the empty boxes…They loves them some empty boxes, yo?. Throw a few kitty treats in one of the boxes….Some like to mess with, and shred, the wrappings….
“This Christmas mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Apologize. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Be kind. Be gentle. Laugh a little more. Express your gratitude. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love, and then speak it again.”― Howard W. Hunter
One of my kitties hid in a gift bag to ambush her sister. Unfortunately when she leaped out of the bag, her head went through the handle and the bag “chased” her down the hall. On the second lap through the living room I was able to step on the bag so it tore off the handle. She hasn’t gone in a bag since!
My childhood cat, Sparky, used to suck tinsel off the tree like the dogs eating spaghetti in Lady and the Tramp. For weeks after the holidays, Sparky made fancy deposits in his litter box. The darn stuff had lead in it back then, too. Didn’t seem to shorten Sparky’s life.

For cats, the only good things about Christmas are turkey and playing with the Christmas tree ornaments. Especially if they have been told not to.
