I have to laugh – I’ve done the same thing.

I wound up putting a large throw pillow on my desk and was able to semi-train Sundance that it was his spot on the desk. He’d still cut across the keyboard to get there, but seemed satisfied with the compromise.

Mine likes the sewing table. I have to pick up everything that goes on the floor ,and relocate him when sewing. But he’s comfortable and content.

I like the smug look on Luddie’s face as he exits.

Luddy first appeared in 1993, so he is over 25 years old which is a lifespan of about 10 years longer than the average domesticated cat. So won’t be long until Ludwig has to go visit the vet for the last time.

No matter how annoying they can be, we still want them around.

Mine’s favorite time is in the morning when I do the crossword while eating dry toast. She really wants that toast and my pencil keeps getting in her way.

When I would dogsit my sister’s vizsla, I muttered complaints every time I walked and fed him. But after she picked him back up, I would miss him greeting me at the door and in the mornings after I woke up…

If Arlo knew touch-typing, this wouldn’t be a problem. Just use a computer desk with a shelf for the keyboard underneath.
