My haircut just got scheduled another month out. Not sure if she’ll be able do to it then even.

And there may only be half as many restaurants by then.

Meh. Dining out ain’t that great. Get something to-go and enjoy a nice meal out on the patio.

If everyone rushes out and crowds public places as soon as the restrictions are lifted, be ready for a second wave of the pandemic

I was just thinking about that yesterday. I often relate to Argo.

My husband got up in a crappy mood this morning and he has it out for EVERYONE on the news today. I asked him what was wrong and he snapped at me also soooooo, Im just gonna stay out of his way today. Not good to poke a testy bear.

Anyone know if dental cleanings are or are not still allowed?

Our favorite restaurant was doing 60% takeout before the shutdown, so they are still doing okay. Unfortunately, they are an hour’s drive away now, because we moved.

In a world of uncertainty, Arlo is a rock. Intellectually, even!

Looks like Arlo has been tested negative for coronavirus and just about everything else.

Yesterday I mentioned the same thing to Mrs. UFO. There will have to be some form of management for the upcoming “run on the bank” on things like, as mentioned above, dental cleanings, haircuts, auto repair, home improvement, and so on. I propose that access be based on the first letter of your last name, and the distribution of last names beginning with that letter. So, for example, letters A, J, and R get Monday, B, D, J, O and Q get Tuesday, and so on.

Well, still think in 8-9 months we will have Baby Boom Two.

I live in a small California beach town. We’re thinking about having a city-wide party on the sand when this is all over. Miss my friends and neighbors.

“Nobody goes there any more, it’s too crowded…”

and there will be lines at the barbers and beauty shops. (ugly lines)

My wife’s birthday was a week after the governor banned dining in at restaurants. One of our favorite restaurants is doing curb side pickup of their full sit down menu. I was also able to get her a few small gifts which she was not expecting. Not exactly what she was hoping for, but not a total disappointment.

Say, don’t they have kids who run a barely-solvent restaurant?

But so is the birth rate………………..

Here’s some good news folks! Vampire attack reports are waaaay down since the WhuFlu scare!

My wife & I are in the compromised age range. We plan to lay low for a while after the SIP is lifted. So we won’t be part of the rush.

Here’s more good news, due to Covid19: My car insurance company is rebating 15% of the premiums for April & May, and possibly beyond, due to the Stay-Home restrictions. I imagine that their claim settlements are down 2-3 times that, but I’ll take the 15%, thanks. You may want to check with your insurance company about this. (Mine is Travelers)

One of the things being advertised in our area reminds us that many of our favorite locally-owned restaurants are still open for take-out. If it can be done safely, please support your local businesses…
