Uh … because he’s a cat?

They are taking splaining to a new level.

It’s splain to see that Luddie is taking the fifth.

I’m thinking Ludwig and I share that expression. In my case it comes when I realize the conversation is not English

This theme is getting boring and dragging on too long. A joke is a joke but.

My cat used to love knocking plants off a table onto the floor and then eating it. Oddly enough, he stopped doing that after I switched to very spiky cacti.

If you can’t understand why a cat knocks things to the floor, try explaining to the cat the old superstition people have of throwing salt over their shoulder. Maybe cats are superstitious too.

’S plain to me that Jimmy is overdoing this " ’splaining" arc.

I do it because I am a cat and need no reason other than I can….lol love it.

He saw Arlo do it.

Because they can; ’nuff said. Fool me once… my cat did this a second time after I picked up her dish the first time.

If catsplaining is not a thing, maybe cartoonsplaining is.

We recently had our two toddler granddaughters here for a few days, and the house was a joyful wreck. They knocked so many things down that Luddie would be envious.

Arlo……You best go outside and disappear for a while. I don’t think Janis is going to be one bit pleased with you mansplaining cats-plaining. And don’t be surprised that, if as you walk out, a salt-shaker doesn’t goes flying by past your head!

Why is there air?

This is how we know that the earth is NOT flat, no matter what the globe deniers claim. If the earth was flat, cats would have pushed EVERYTHING off the edge!

Enough with the “splaining.”

Luddy can’t ’splain. He only speaks on Christmas Eve and once that was in Icelandic.

So that’s the story behind the “lost shaker of salt”

Cats do not like to share their space.

They really need to go visit their grandchild. Maybe the visit would freshen his Muse.

If the experts are right, Ludwig got what he wanted. They say it begins as a prey drive, “Is that alive? I’ll give it a bump and see if it moves.” But they quickly figure out that pushing things off tables gains them instant attention. Thus the smile on Luddie’s face.

Cats never feel like they need to splain (or explain) themselves.

Cats make their own rules.

Anything on top of anything plus a cat – either sleep on it, or push it to the floor.

I didn’t hear it break.

Luddie committed “a salt” on an innocent shaker.

Cats are in charge of gravity, you should know that by now. He’s testing to make sure it’s still working properly.

Why would he do that? It’s a cat thing. If I remember correctly, a few months ago he pushed a glass off the table and you just put another one on there.

As Chess Pirate said, because it was there. One of my guys is so focused on a particular branch display I have he’ll get into it even though I’m just in the next room where he’s in full sight. I realize it’s to get my attention, and boy that’s what he gets. He also does this when I’m on the phone, which is always hard to explain to whoever I’m talking to as I’m yelling at him to get away. Good thing I love him dearly or he’d be out looking for a new home by now.
