It hides too much.

They been married awhile. Arlo see’s enough in the bedroom.

It’s pretty and soft. She feels comfortable in it, and enjoys how she looks. Seeing your spouse happy about themselves should make you feel happy, too.

The top reminds me of the maternity clothes that women used to wear.

Like we used to say: If you got it, flaunt it.

When the lady is wrapped up in something wonderful and soft that makes her feel terrific, the thing to do is to wrap your arms around her and enjoy the feeling with her.

I like her top. Much more comfortable than form-fitting clothes. And the love handles can bloop around freely without calling attention to themselves.

He’s coming to terms with it. He’s not a fan of tummy hiding. I’m not either. It’s there, ladies. Deal with it.

Blouses such as that, mumus, etc. that women can be comfortable in are the way to go for everyday.

The way I read this is “You want me to like it?! Then I like it!” ☺

Getting a little repetitive with the Janis angst about aging and Arlo’s reaction to it. The usual wit and humor between Arlo and Janis seems lacking when they are dealing with this subject. Hoping that’s not another issue that comes from getting older, lol.

Arlo must learn to take the good with the bad. For instance, the new top is very loose at the bottom, leaving lots of room to get hands up inside.

Of course I do is the experienced husband responce.

My bride is the same way. She wears sweatshirts all year, even when it’s 95 degrees out, like now. Sheesh.

Empathize with Arlo. Be supportive of Janis, help her address/reduce her insecurities AND appreciate her selected fashion. Dang difficult in this case.

Men look in the mirror and see perfection. Women looks in the mirror and sees imperfection. Men look at (appropriate) women and admire what they like.

The paradigm has changed.

Janice quit trying to dress attractive as soon as she had a ring on it. Every time they talk about her clothes, it’s about her choosing to wear something dumpy.
