Not watching the olympics because you were offended by the opening ceremony is a bit like leaving the city you just arrived at because you saw someone in the airport with a t-shirt that upset you.
I don’t care to watch any sports, but I am offended by the outfits that females have to wear. Why do men get to cover their butts and women wear something going up their crack.
Unfortunately, these Days, being offended is a way of life. Telling others that your opinion of the world is superior to those of all others is only joy many people get out of life.
Ah yes, the table scene with 16 people and a blue dude that made fun of the Last Supper, which had neither 16 participants nor a blue dude. The local archdiocese tried to act all offended about it and they had to close replies on all their social media accounts within minutes because they got unloaded on.
Opening ceremonies could have been more traditional with naked torch runners. Some of this new age stuff is confusing and revolting. With break dancing becoming a “sport”? You folks playing Pickle Ball keep practicing. You could be a contender.

I’ll be happy when the news channels can get back to reporting actual news.

Sadly that probably won’t happen. It’s a different world from when I was young.

Well, I guess if you don’t care about offending over a billion people by making fun of their religion…

This was a fast turnaround on the strip. I thought they were done weeks in advance.

what part of the weather channel, always being wrong or the fake hurricane reporting when they are hanging almost upside down in 30 mile an hour winds

Didn’t see much of the Olympics. Certainly wouldn’t be watching any openings or closings.

Leave it to the French to create controversy instead of an athletic float…..wee!

I wasn’t offended. Of course I don’t understand what point they were trying to make.

Amazing how quickly people have explanations and responses for their stupidity.

Had to look it up. Eyeroll.
Have been watching re-caps on Peacock. Lots of choice for all the various sports.

I hope that they feature the athletes that put in the work and not a bunch of clowns.

I guess that Mr. Johnson wasn’t offended by the insult to Judeo-Christian beliefs.
Now, if that ceremony had mocked Islam or Muhammed………

Yeah, it really riled up the toothless Fox News cousin-f***ers who don’t know anything about Renaissance art and never heard of Dionysus.

I love it when people start making up imaginary scenarios, and then get all angry about them
