Many years ago, I talked with a newlywed who was having second thoughts about her marriage. I told her that no marriage is perfect, and she would be never find the perfect man. I told her to look at his good points, and then look at the negatives. Would the good points far outweigh the negatives, and were the negatives, things she could live with. It’s all about compromise and loving the spouse in spite of his/her so-called faults. I say “so-called faults,” because that’s subjective.

You didn’t even wind up with a pair.
