Well, there are so many restrictions to being a proper man that we have to let loose some times.

I admit my age, but no one believes me. They think I’m under 40 when I’m 56. Oily skin will do that.

I’ve never been this age before. Why do you expect me to know how to act like it?

I’m fine with telling my age. Most of the time people don’t believe me when I say it anyway

Many men just divide their actual age by 10 and then act accordingly. I just turn 7 a few months ago.

Do most women really lie or refuse to admit their age? That’s better than having people assume much worse…

In college, in the 1970s, I was reviewing public records for an organization I worked with. I found it amusing that many women would write “21+” for their age. A few years later, in the 1980s, a young woman was hired where I worked. In the course of a getting-to-know-you conversation, I happened to ask how old she was. She looked at me very coolly and replied, “A lady never tells her age.” I was a little taken aback, as I’d always assumed that idea belonged to a generation that preceded ours.

As for acting my age, I prefer to simply ignore my age, and just act like me.

Somewhere I have a pic of one of my bros (then age ~60) standing in Home Depot with a traffic cone on his head.

I got a nice complement the other day. I told this person I was typing to in a game chat room, and he said, “You don’t type like you’re 72”. I thought it was really nice. My fingers want to fly and sometimes I have to shut them down! LOL

I can still type my age in words per minute (76). But only I can read the gibberish – err Latin.

I act my age. I just don’t act like you think I should act at my age. I personally think a lot of women act 20 years older than their age. But I act similar to how my mom acted at this age. (My father never got to be my age.)
